Solo New York Monroe Hybrid Tote (16-Inch Laptop, Tote-to-Backpack Convertible, RFID Pocket)

I switch between tote mode for the office and backpack mode for my bike commute, and the conversion takes about five seconds. My 16-inch laptop fits the padded compartment exactly, and the RFID pocket is a nice touch I didn't know I needed. It looks professional enough to bring straight into meetings.

Got compliments the first week. The convertible straps stow away cleanly. I wish the interior had one more slip pocket for pens.

The concept is great and it holds a lot. The backpack straps are a bit short on me so it sits high, but as a tote it's honestly excellent.

I've owned convertible bags before and they usually compromise on both modes. This one doesn't. As a tote the handles are comfortable, as a backpack the straps are padded and adjustable, and the RFID pocket keeps my cards safe on the subway. Six months of daily use and it still looks sharp.

The bag itself is nice, but the strap conversion is harder to do than advertised and the clips feel flimsy. Fine as a tote; I just stopped using the backpack mode.
