The 17-inch laptop means bigger pieces to align, so take your time. I did the lid first, then sides, then palm rest, and it worked out well. The lenticular camo looks premium and has held up to two months of backpack duty with zero peeling. Minor bubbles around one vent smoothed out with heat.
The Blade 17 is not cheap, so protecting the aluminum was a no-brainer. This wrap covers everything, feels great, and the camo design gets compliments constantly. Application took maybe 35 minutes total. Zero regrets.
The lenticular pattern means the pieces need to line up precisely or it's noticeable at the seams. Mine turned out about 95% right — one side seam is slightly off. Material quality is excellent though, real 3M thickness. If you're meticulous, this'll be a five-star for you.

No matter how much heat I applied, the vinyl wouldn't conform cleanly around the rear edge and I ended up with wrinkles on both sides. Flat areas look great but the edges ruined it for me. Maybe my technique, but I've applied skins before without this issue.
Cuts are accurate for the Blade 17 and the design is unique. The install video helped a lot. Took about 40 minutes and the result looks professional minus one tiny bubble near a port. Would buy again.
